wok
A wok is an Asian round-bottomed frying pan. Its deep, round form means that temperatures are high in the center which allows fast frying whilst the edges of the frying pan remain cooler so that food that is already cooked can be pushed to one side. The most common cooking method with the wok is stir-frying.
