tray system

The tray system is one form of food distribution in care catering e.g. in hospitals and seniors' facilities. Foods are delivered, already portioned onto trays and served to patients. We differentiate between:

  • compact tray system: dishes are integrated and fixed into the tray. The tray is covered with a temperature-resistant one-piece lid.
  • cloche system: individual dishes are placed on the tray and covered with individual temperature-resistant lids
