milk product regulations (MilchErzV)
Milk production regulations govern the commercial production and sale of milk products. All milk products must be heat treated and most products must be labeled with fat content. Milk regulations divide products into 15 groups including:
- yoghurt products
- cream products
- kefir products
- buttermilk products
- whey products
