cold pressed oils
"Cold pressed" is a commonly advertised quality characteristic for vegetable oils. However, this alone is not adequate to guarantee high quality as the heat which develops during the process as a result of pressure can reach temperatures of 170°C. Subsequent refinement is also allowed. A term which denotes higher quality is virgin oils .
