Caffeine is a psychoactive substance which is present in foods such as coffee, tea, coke, chocolate and energy beverages. It is one of the oldest, most effective and best tolerated stimulants i.e. a substance which increases energy and concentration and dispels fatigue. Higher doses may lead to nervousness and insomnia.
